The Company availed financial assistance from M/s Capriso Finance Ltd. and Siri In Fin Lease Pvt. Ltd. in the year 2018. The company failed to repay the amount to the aforementioned creditors.
Eventually, Capriso Finance Ltd. and Siri In Fin Lease Pvt. Ltd. filed an application against Trishul Dream Homes Ltd. before the Hon’ble National Company Law Tribunal (“NCLT”), Chandigarh Bench under Section 7 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 which was admitted on 16.06.2023. The Hon’ble NCLT appointed Mr. Ajay Kumar Agarwal as the Interim Resolution Professional (“IRP”) in the matter vide its order dated 16.06.2023.
Thereafter, Mr. Jalesh Kumar Grover was appointed as the Resolution Professional (“RP”) by majority of members of the Committee of Creditors (“COC”) of Trishul Dream Homes Limited in accordance with Section 22 (3) of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. His appointment was further approved by the Hon’ble NCLT vide order dated 18.08.2023.
